A year to finally go for it.
Time to stop talking ourselves out of the life we want.
Hey, I’m Cat.
I’m 42, although in my head I’m still somewhere around 26. I’m a wife, mom of three, homeschooler, and I love pretty much anything that keeps me active. I’m a little obsessed with health and longevity, love to travel, somehow ended up in three book clubs at the same time, and somewhere along the way decided I needed to learn how to make basically everything out of sourdough.
I was pre-med at UGA, majoring in Psychology, and later took some classes through Stanford Continuing Studies. I’ve always been fascinated by people and why we do what we do, the patterns we get stuck in, and why we can know exactly what we should do and still not do it.
I know I want to do more. I have ideas. Things I want to try. A version of myself and my life that I can see pretty clearly. I just keep convincing myself I’m not ready.
Maybe when I know more. Maybe when I’m more confident. Maybe when I finally feel ready.
Except...I’m starting to realize that day probably isn’t coming. So I’m giving myself a year to finally go for it. What exactly does that mean?
Honestly, I’m not totally sure yet and I guess that’s kind of the point. But I’m going to find out.
